What exactly can cause low back injuries? Being an Orlando Chiropractor, I am right in the middle of a city where I deal with alot of back pain patients, I work in a very busy area. And there's not one particular force, many things can cause lower back injuries--muscle strain or spasm, sprains of ligaments (which attach bone to bone), joint problems or a "slipped disk." Some of the most common causes is using your back muscles in activities you're not used to, like lifting heavy furniture or doing yard work. Is there anything I can do for relief when I've hurt my lower back? The best position for relief when your back hurts is to lie on your back on the floor with pillows under your knees, with your hips and knees bent and your feet on a chair, or just with your hips and knees bent. This takes the pressure and weight off your back. Then begin to inhale and exhale and put yourself into a relaxing zone. Back Pain Sufferer 04/09/2009
.I know there is so much controversy between chiropractic and medical care, but if it were not for chiropractic I would still be in pain. A car accident left me with constant lower back pain. I tried everything from painkillers to preparing to have surgery. I heard stories from my friends who had surgery and to this day wish they never had it. So I decided to go to a chiropractor before the surgery and I am so thankful that I did. My back pains are gone and I am living my life to the fullest and pain free. I have had stomach problems for 30 years. My esophagus has scars and I have GERD. My stomach had 31 polyps removed what a shock. I met Dr. Roach and he explained what has happened to my system. He was the first doctor that explained my condition. He recommended a supplement program for me. We met on a Wednesday and I started that day, by Sunday I had no discomfort and I stopped taking Prilosec which I had been on for 2 years. I'm continuing on the program and look forward to having better health. |
